Everything You Need for Sunday, September 13, 2026
Hello Everyone!
This Sunday is our Fall Kickoff! We've had the summer to slow down, travel, and spend time with our families and friends. The kids are back in school and, as we move into fall, we are back to our church programs.
North Campus
It’s back to school, dive into work, new deadlines, colder weather, less sunlight, and more… stress! It’s “Stresstember”. Do you feel it? Did you know that God has a plan to help with that? Pastor Jeff Edwards will talk about this plan to give you a rest, even when we are diving into work. And it’s one of the famous Ten Commandments. Come hear about the “the Rest of God”, our new series about Sabbath which begins this Kick-off Sunday. (Exodus 20:8-11)
South Campus
Taylor Swift makes September sound magical and romantic but, with everything starting back up, it’s hard to remember anything in September! Maybe we feel like we’re free-falling, falling behind, or that everything is falling off the rails. It’s called FALL for a reason! Associate Pastor Kara Wilfley will talk about how our Good Father God has a different take on September and says to remember the promise of entering his rest still stands. Come hear about “The Rest of God”, our new series Sabbath & Worship which begins this Kick-off Sunday. And maybe in learning to receive the rest of God, we encounter something more of God we hadn’t known - the REST of God! (Hebrews 4:1-11)
Discovery Zone
We have Sunday School (Discovery Zone) - PreK through Gr 6 at both campuses.
If you have any questions, please contact Kara Wilfley at kara.wilfley@nwcchurch.ca.
