Hello Everyone!

At our South campus this Sunday, Pastor Jeff Edwards will talk about how we’ve been learning a lot about the theology of Seeking God.  But how do we do it?  Let’s look into ancient history to get some practical advice from good king Jehoshaphat. Jeff will use 2 Chronicles 17:1-9 as his scripture.

At our North campus, Worship Pastor Dave Chow will speak about the prophet Joel calls us to "rend our hearts" (Joel 2:12-13 NIV).  Normally we use this term with cloth that has been torn.  Joel calls us to rend our hearts.   It sounds quite violent, and like something that could cause pain.  At the least, we should examine our hearts - as we prepare the way for Jesus, as we make our way towards the cross of Good Friday and Holy Week.  Joel's call isn't one of masochistic self-flagellation.  It is a call to repentance and to remember who we are, and Whose we are, and what we're actually supposed to be up to.

Also at our North site, we'll be having "Soup and a Biscuit" Sunday! Plan to stay after the service for food and fellowship.
