Hello Everyone!
At our North campus this Sunday, Pastor Jeff Edwards will ask, "Should we love the world or not?" He loves pizza. He loves his mountain bike. He loves his job. Should he? The Apostle John says “don’t love the world”, but he also said “God so loved the world”. Which is it? Let’s figure it out this Sunday! Pastor Jeff will preach from the scripture 1 John 2:15-17.
Also, at our north site, we'll have a Meet-and-Greet after the service to say farewell to Tyler and Vanessa Dobson. This will be their last Sunday with us. We will miss them immensely but our thoughts and prayers are with them as they listen for God's next steps for them.
At our South campus, Pastor Kara Wilfley will speak about warnings and a word to the wise when it comes to Love. It’s unlikely that the early church celebrated Valentine’s Day or got time off for a Family Day Vacay! But they were no strangers to antagonists who attacked the love and loyalty of the first groups of believers. This Sunday, we’ll look at 1 John 2:18-23 together to see how they guarded their relationships and loved well and we can too!
