Hello Everyone!
This is the fourth Sunday in Advent. Today, we'll light the fourth candle of Advent -- the Angel's Candle of Love.
At our South campus this Sunday, Pastor Valerie Salkeld will speak about how Jesus is Coming! Advent is always a wonderful time to focus on the story of Bethlehem. Looking at Psalm 80, we will see who the Israelites were waiting for and what it is we are waiting for today.
At our North campus, Pastor Jeff Edwards will speak about how Christmas helps us get to tomorrow. “Tomorrow is a new day!” Have you ever said that? It’s true! Even if you are having a bad day, you can remember “now-and-not-yet”. We are living in a now-and-not-yet season. If you don’t know what that means, come to this sermon. Because Christmas reminds us that Jesus is already with us, but will be fully with us in the future. Jeff will preach from Jeremiah 31:31-34.
Also at our North Campus, we'll celebrate Communion. If you plan to join us online, please have your elements ready so that you can participate with us.
