Hello Everyone!

This is our fourth Sunday in Advent! This Sunday, we'll light the fourth candle of Advent -- the Angel's Candle of Love.

At our South campus this Sunday, Worship Pastor Dave Chow shares about John crying out from the wilderness, “Prepare the way!” As Advent unfolds, Mark 1:4–8 calls us to repentance that makes space for hope, renewal, and the Spirit-filled life Jesus brings.

At our North campus, Associate Pastor Valerie Salkeld will talk about the familiar Christmas Story. Celebrating Advent gives us the opportunity to think of it in different ways while we "wait" for Jesus. What does the Bible say about waiting for a Messiah? What were the Jewish people waiting for? And, what are we waiting for? We will look at The Feast of Tabernacles in Leviticus 23: 34 - 43 to see what this tells us about Emmanuel - God With Us. We'll also look at the Magnificat in Luke 1.
